More than just a Bootcamp

Updated: Jan 23

Let's take a look at what makes our Bootcamps, more than just a workout program!

Happy Bootcampers throwing yoga mats

It’s not the workout itself that keeps our Bootcampers coming back day after day, it’s the feeling of being a part of a positive group, where they can build friendships and have fun while working out. Check out just some of the things our Bootcamps around Melbourne are doing to ensure we go the extra mile in creating a welcoming, fun and engaging community for all!

Did someone say...Coffee?! ☕️

Coffee with Boys

Whether you're a coffee drinker or not, our "Post-Bootcamp Coffee Catch-ups" are an absolute highlight of the week. These social catch-ups give coaches/members an opportunity to get to know each other better & chat more about what's going on outside of Bootcamp. We always encourage new members to come along and get to know the crew outside of training, because this is where the true bonding and banter takes place.

Some extra activities that often take place at our coffee catchups include:
  • Doing the Herald Sun Weekend Quiz

  • Reading out the star signs

  • Sharing any struggles or little wins

  • Getting to know new members

  • Brainstorming fun group activities/excursions/winery tours 🍷

Celebrate all the little Wins! 🥇

You've probably seen programs where the award goes to the person who has " Lost the most weight", "Lifted the most kgs" or "Run the fastest time"... But here at Bootcamp, we believe every member should be awarded for hitting their own personal goals, because every single bootcamper has unique milestones that mean something to them, and these deserve to be acknowledged. Some ways we celebrate our Members

  • Gold, Silver & Bronze medallions for hitting personal goals.

  • 'Member of the Month" acknowledgments

  • Celebrating and sharing big life events ( Weddings, Babies, etc. )

  • Fist bumps & High fives after each training session.

  • Welcoming New Members to the group at training and in our online communities.

  • Personal Improvements on our monthly Fitness testing results

  • Celebrating Milestones (e.g 1 year birthday of Bootcamp, Members hitting their first 100 sessions, Getting off diabetic or heart pressure medications... the list goes on )

Keeping it Fun & Engaging

If there is one thing we value HIGHLY at Bootcamp, it's good light-hearted humour. Our Bootcamp coaches are always finding fun and effective ways to keep our members laughing and having a good time, both at Bootcamp and online. Here are some of our favourites
